IIT Indore and industry leaders are collaborating to establish Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to
foster research, development, and industry-academia partnerships. These CoEs, like the one
with Rajratan Global Wire, and Case New Holland and are designed to address real-world
challenges, train students, and provide industries with access to cutting-edge research.
It forges the interdisciplinary research, accelerates product and process innovation, and
addresses critical sector-specific challenges. Committed to advancing science and
engineering, it prioritizes projects of national significance that positively impact society and
benefit the common person, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing science and
engineering in ways that align with the urgent needs of the country.
Rajratan Centre of Excellence (RCoE):
Focuses on advanced research and analytical testing, particularly in areas related to tire bead wire manufacturing.
Case Centre of Excellence (CCoE):
Focuses on construction equipment, offering facilities for research, development, and training in areas like vibratory compactors and backhoe loaders.
