Liquid Nitrogen Plant

A National Facility Indian Institute of Technology Indore

Created with Sketch.

Model

LN500

Features

UN1977 NITROGEN REFRIGERATED LIQUID

The fully automatic StirLIN allows the user to concentrate on his core activity, eliminating all issues involved with the purchasing and logistics of bulk liquid nitrogen supply.  StirLIN-1 is a Compact StirLIN systems are a popular, plug and produce solution. Taking up little space and ready for work. Simply connect power and start producing your own liquid nitrogen. The liquid is dispensed through a flexible hose simply by opening a valve. It produces Ln2 @ 10 liters per hour capacity.

Applications

  • cryopreservation of cells and microbes, lyophilization.
  • NMR: to keep the superconducting coils that power the magnet cooled below its critical superconducting temperature (Tc).
  • Ln2 is used to measure single crystal XRD at various temperatures (80K – 500K).
  • Magnetic measurements at ultra low temperatures.
  • Low temperature photoluminescence measurement.
  • Raman spectroscopy at temperature below -77 degrees.
  • Low temperature chemical synthesis.
