Anton Paar-PMA 300
Flash Point of a flammable liquid is the lowest temperature at which vapours of that liquid will ignite when close to an ignition source. The PMA 300 Pensky Martens flash point tester used to determine high-precision flash point of petroleum and chemical products automatically. The PMA 300 is a closed-cup flash point tester equipped with premium technology and modern design. It determines flash points above ambient temperature up to 370 °C.
Applications
- Petroleum refineries process crude oil into different products such as Diesel, Kerosene, Biodiesel blends and many more. According to product specifications, flash point is a mandatory value.
- For chemicals, the flash point is important for storage and transport of products as well as for the quality.
- For lubricating oil, flash and fire point testing is an important parameter within product specifications.
- Methods it can follow: ISO 2719-A, ISO 2719B, ISO 2719-C, IP 34-A, IP 34-B ASTM D93-A, ASTM D93-B, ASTM D93-C GB T261.
