SIC

Sophisticated instrumentation center (SIC) was established in September 2011 to expedite the research program at IIT Indore. SIC has now emerged as one of the first such centers in the country providing extensive analytical instrument support to the users of the research fraternity across the country. A major advantage of SIC is its accessibility to the students within the institute as well as to other institutes and industries. A very healthy ratio of students to the time availability on instruments, and quick analysis of external samples makes it a very useful facility.

UV-VIS-NIR is a high-performance UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer capable of making measurements in the 190- 3300 nm range. The extreme versatility of this instrument permits the acquisition of spectra from almost any type of sample.

The LAMBDA 750 is designed to provide the maximum sampling flexibility for tough samples in chemistry, biochemistry, and materials science. The system is ideal for a busy research or teaching laboratory, as accessories and detector modules can quickly and easily be interchanged to provide the optimum configuration for each measurement.
